International conference to present the project findings

The main aim of Lipgene is to investigate the interaction between dietary fat composition and genotype in the development of the metabolic syndrome in humans, drawing upon knowledge gained from research in the areas of human nutrition, plant biotechnology, animal nutrition, economics and consumer science. As this five-year, multidisciplinary project draws to a close, scientists from the Lipgene project will present and discuss the main findings at this one-day international conference hosted by University College Dublin.
