Are you ready to lead change in the UK food environment? At the British Nutrition Foundation, our purpose is to promote health and wellbeing and prevent diet related illness through evidence-based nutrition science. We exist to make science meaningful and accessible, helping everyone enjoy healthier lives. But knowledge alone isn’t enough—the food environment shapes the choices people make every day.
Transforming that environment is one of the most powerful ways to improve public health, and our Food Systems Transformation team is at the heart of our work on this. By working with partners to influence change, we can create a future where healthier, more sustainable options are not the exception, but the norm.
We are looking for an exceptional Director who can inspire and lead our Food Systems Transformation team, shaping a bold vision for a healthier, more sustainable food environment. This person will combine strategic thinking with commercial acumen, building influential partnerships, strengthening our membership proposition and driving change to deliver impact at scale. They will be a confident communicator, a trusted ambassador for evidence-based nutrition, and a role model for our values—purpose, integrity, confidence, connection, and openness—while delivering ambitious income growth and deepening engagement to secure the Foundation’s financial sustainability and societal impact. As Director of Partnerships and Member Engagement, you will:
- Shape and deliver our strategy for a healthier, more sustainable food environment.
- Build influential partnerships and strengthen our membership proposition.
- Drive innovation and income growth to secure impact and our financial sustainability.
