More on Our Offerings

At the British Nutrition Foundation, we have a long history of professional consultation on a variety of nutrition topics.

We can help with:

  • Demonstrating your impact
  • Leading or participating in advisory groups
  • Input on the development of your work packages
  • Provide comprehensive research to inform your work
  • Acting as a critical friend to guide your work

The British Nutrition Foundation has a wealth of experience in managing collaborations between academia, industry and other organisations.

We disseminate research through a variety of social and traditional media channels, and bringing together key stakeholders to enhance the work.

We also publish research in our peer-reviewed journal, Nutrition Bulletin, which is held in high regard within the academic sphere.

BNF’s free lunchtime webinars attract a large, diverse audiences with worldwide reach. Typically attracting between 1,000 and 2,000 registrations, our webinars inform academics, researchers, those working in the food industry, public health and in wellness and fitness, as well as students and interested members of the public.

The webinars are available to view on demand on the BNF website, and a Q&A document from the webinar is sent out to registrants.

Webinars can be used to disseminate findings; set background to why your research may be important as a public health concern, introduce a diverse audience to your work and invite participants to engage on a deeper level.

We access our comprehensive network of academics and research to organise stakeholder roundtables to gain insights into upcoming fields of research, identifying opportunities and barriers. We produce a briefing note of the roundtable for wider dissemination.

We can also host an interactive event with key stakeholders to drive lateral thinking and new approaches to address challenges. The event would highlight the importance of the research presented, assess opinion on key questions and identify attitudes, opportunities and barriers. Expert speakers would be invited, both setting the scene and highlighting the major issues.

BNF would develop the agenda, invite expert speakers and participants, host, outline key points in summary report and consult on dissemination planning.

The proceedings could be written up for a consensus document or proceedings report to be published in Nutrition Bulletin.

Our expert nutritionists are well-versed in analysing and scrutinising nutritional data. Whether analysing product ranges and identifying gaps and opportunities, or interrogating public health data, we can support you in making sense of even the most opaque data.

For example, we provide secondary analysis of current nutritional dietary survey data - including NDNS data. We have used this data to provide a more complete understanding of dietary patterns and trends across the UK.

We can provide analyses of various breadths and depths, suited to your needs. Contact us today to find out more!

We can develop online training courses for a variety of audiences, including health professionals, educators, employers and employees, students and the general public.

Our courses can be tailor-made to your requirements and we can provide you with feedback and information about participants' progress.
